Description

Part of our Core Curriculum, ”Combat” explores the nature of conflict, peacemaking, and covers the basic tools and values of the protector- a role of the everyday hero. This class provides an overview and introduction to the Tribal Edge Hero Lab, the primal fitness method of Anima Sporta, and the art of Sikal- a unique fusion of Filipino Kali and Indonesian Pentjak Silat.

After this class, you will be better prepared for training in any martial art system, and you will leave with a deeper understanding of the way of the protector and the value of life.

WHO? ADULT (UNDER 16 WITH PARENT)

• Core classes open to all ages and skill abilities. The class content is designed for adults however youth 16 and under are welcome with a registered parent or guardian (youth under 12 are free).

WHEN: SATURDAY 9:00-5:00

• Core Classes run from 9:00-5:00 on the Saturday before our Monthly Gathering. Check our schedule for exact dates. (This is often the first Saturday of every month- but not always so please check the schedule.)

WHERE: TRIBAL EDGE LAND

• Core classes are primarily held outdoors at the Tribal Edge Land in Blyn Wa. Get directions here.

COST: $25-100

• Classes are valued at $100 and no one is turned away for lack of funds.

• $25 Deposit required to hold your space.

• Sliding scale options:

  • Be a Supporter: $50-100.

  • Be supported: $25-50.

• Retake for 25 & come back again for free!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Water bottle

• Lunch (there will be a lunch break so you can run out to get food if you want)

• Dress for all weather, movement, and outdoor adventure.

• Note book and pen

• Towel (the ground may be wet and you may need to dry off)
